About Hotel:
Fly from the UK to Dubai. On arrival, you’ll transfer to your chosen hotel for a three-night stay.
The iconic emirate of Dubai is renowned for its shopping scene, captivating modern architecture, and vibrant nightlife scene. It’s often described as Las Vegas without the casinos, due to its super-sized hotels, amusement parks, aquariums, designer cars, and luxury yachts. Relax on the golden sandy shores of Jumeirah Beach and the Persian Gulf or spend time on the tree-shaped Palm Jumeirah to discover glitzy beach clubs and decadent nightclubs with DJ sets.
The tallest structure and building in the world is a must-visit; the Burj Khalifa boasts 160 stories, while the adjoining man-made Burj Khalifa Lake is home to the spectacular Dubai Fountain and its water jets and lights choreographed to music. Pay a visit to Ras Al Khor nature reserve to see the amazing pink flamingos and a variety of birds or encounter the flora, fauna, and falcons up close at Dubai Desert Conservation Centre.
3 nights – Bab Al Shams – Dubai
Transfer to the desert on the outskirts of Dubai, where you’ll check into your chosen hotel for your final two nights.
The Dubai desert area is less than an hour’s drive from the city. During your time here you could embark on a thrilling desert safari in a four-wheeled drive vehicle; hold on tight as your driver whizzes you around the sand dunes, teetering on the edge of sheer drops, before driving down and up the sandy slopes. Quad biking takes this adventure to another level; when you’ll experience the dunes with yourself at the wheel as you hurtle through the sands.
True adrenaline-seekers can meet the challenge of sand boarding; where you strap a snowboard-type contraption to your feet so you can glide down the dune, the same as you would on a snow-covered slope. If you’re in search of more sedate pursuits, why not spend a few hours in a Bedouin tent enjoying locally-inspired food, drink, and entertainment. For something different; perhaps enhance your desert experience with a guided astronomy tour to appreciate the night sky and nocturnal creatures.
